Jr. Police Academy

The Wellsburg Junior Police Academy is held the third week of June each year. This one week academy is hosted by New Day Christian Center and other local organizations and supervised by Chief Deputy (Retired WV State Police Sgt.) Matthew Scott Adams. The Academy focuses on God, Respect, Loyalty, and Country and is based on training at the West Virginia State Police Academy. There is an emphasis on physical fitness, discipline, and excellence. This is a great opportunity for your children to learn these values and be a part of the great future of our community.
